Reconciliation and First Communion

Reconciliation is a Sacrament of healing. It brings us closer to Christ. The First Eucharist is when our student receive the body and blood for the first time. The third Commandment tells us token holy the Lord’s Day. Both of these sacraments continue throughout a Catholic’s life.

Students typically prepare and receive these Sacraments during second grade. Their daily Religion instruction as well as parent sessions completes the requirements.

If your child is in third grade or older and has not received these sacraments, please contact Sister Christine at cnanataba@archchicago.org

Confirmation

Confirmation is a time that a young Catholic makes the vows to answer the call that was answered for them at Baptism. Mary, Mother of Divine Grace celebrates this sacrament with the Religious Education students in the Spring.
