My name is Tina Southerton.
I am the 4th grade teacher at Divine Providence School.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and my ESL endorsement from American College of Education.
I have a 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter. My daughter Allison is a DP student in 5th grade.
In my spare time, when I have some, I love to exercise, take the dog out for a walk, and Netflix binge.
I chose to teach at a Catholic school because I believe in teaching the whole child academically, socially, and spiritually.
A Catholic school is not just a place of work. It becomes a school and faith community as well.
